A live-act project born in 2013 after many hours in the studio together and a number of collaborations. The pair struck a musical connection and found themselves at the beginning of a new collaborative journey. The name organically formed off the back of what was then to be a self-titled debut EP “Casual Affairs”, a down tempo yet danceable record with modern, yet futuristic nostalgia. This EP was released on Rob Made’s ‘Sleazy Deep’ imprint and boasts remixes from the likes of Balcazar & Sordo, Raffa FL and Max Chapman.
Fast forward to 2015, we see the project being featured in DJ Mag as a live act to keep an eye on. With a sound having evolved towards a darker shade of techno, Casual Affair now find themselves playing alongside the likes of Monoloc, Woo York, Stephan Bodzin & Avatism. With a strong sense of direction in place, we see the project taking to its true form.
